San Leandro will soon get to fulfill their cravings of Indian and Nepalese food when "Taste of the Himalayas" opens.

CreAsian Bistro at 1269 MacArthur Boulevard was recently purchased by new owners and is being rebranded as “CreAsian – Taste of the Himalayas,” according to San Leandro Next.

The restaurant's new owners will offer Nepalese and Indian recipes, while continuing to serve many of the existing CreAsian menu, San Leandro Next reports.

This is the second Taste of the Himalayas location. The first, in the heart of the Gourmet Ghetto in Berkeley has been operating since 2005, San Leandro Next reports.

Cleophus Quealy Beer Company signed a lease to move into 448 Hester Street earlier this week, San Leandro Next also reports. The craft brewery and tasting room plans to open early in 2014.

Cleophus Quealy is a craft brewery startup formed by Peter Baker and Dan Watson, two engineers who met while working together at Google in 2005, San Leandro Next reports.

BevMo! is opening on August 16 at Fashion Faire, San Leandro Next reports. Finishing touches are being put on a store buildout. Fashion Faire is located at 15100 Hesperian Boulevard.
