San Leandro Kmart, Sears Outlet So Far Unaffected By Closures

The planned closures were initially reported in an internal memo from CEO Lou D'Ambrosio that was picked up by the media.

Initially, there was no list of specific stores.

Now Sears Holdings Newsroom has published a list that the company says "represents 80 of the 100 to 120 store closings that were announced (on) December 27.

The list of affected stores is posted with this story as a PDF.

Sears Holdings said it will post updates. So more closures may be announced before the local stores are in the clear.

Sears said its stores typically have between 40 and 80 employees.
