Danny Glover Expected To Help Launch New San Leandro Restaurant

Actor is the scheduled guest at a pre-opening dinner at Carolyn's Creole Kitchen at Bayfair Center.

Actor and activist  Danny Glover is expected to be the special guest at a pre-opening holiday dinner being held at  Carolyn's Creole Kitchen at Bayfair Center in San Leandro on Saturday, December 10.

The new restaurant, with its French Quarters atmosphere, strives to be like a trip to Bourbon Street in New Orleans.

On its menu that night will be Creole-seasoned hot garlic crab and Creole style herb baked chiicken. Both entrees will be served with Carolyn's "Screamin' Mac & Cheese", green salad, garlic bread and Carolyn's Virgin Hurricaine Punch. There is even a children's entree option. Menu prices vary.

Doors open that night at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

The new eatery is located inside the entrance of Bayfair Center that is directly across from the front of the Century Theater. Customers will find it most convenient to park on the theater side of the mall.
