Celebrity Wedding Planner Who Visited San Leandro Faces Divorce

'My Fair Wedding' host David Tutera denies partner's charge that he hired prostitutes to feed his 'sex addiction.' Tutera led the local grand opening of Jo-Ann Frabrics and Crafts.

It's gone from wedding bells to divorce papers for the host of "My Fair Wedding," David Tutera, whose celebrity drew a crowd to the grand opening of JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts in San Leandro last year.

Ten years ago Tutera wed Ryan Jurica in Vermont where same-sex marriage is legal. Now he is seeking to also unravel that relationship and also his California domestic partnership, according to People Magazine.

Reports of this marital discord first arose on TMZ, which reported Jurica's allegations that "[David] has engaged in a pattern of hiring sex escorts and prostitutes to support his (sex) addiction."

The couple are expecting twins in July through a surrogate.

Each of the two estranged partners has requested full custody of the twins according to TMZ.

"The allegations against me are baseless and untrue," Tutera told Huffington Post, adding that he would "fight vigorously to defend my reputation in the court of law as well as the court of public opinion."

Last summer Tutera drew brides from as far away as San Diego to attend the grand opening of the JoAnn store in San Leandro.

“You don’t want to be stuck behind the camera," he said at the time. "You want to meet the people that watch you.”
