Auction to Benefit Alameda County Community Food Bank

Information about the May 7 event is being publicized now and antique dealers from throughout the Bay Area are expected to participate

 

A fundraising auction which will benefit the Alameda County Community Food Bank will be held Monday, May 7 at 10 a.m. at Michaan's Auction House Main Gallery at 2751 Todd Street in Alameda.

The "Recipe For Hope Benefit Auction of Fine & Decorative Arts" preview days and times will be May 4 and May 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and May 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can also preview the items on May 7 beginning at 9 a.m. or by appointment.

Antique dealers around the Bay Area are joining forces with the auction house to help fill the Alameda County Community Food Bank's coffers.

According to Michaan's Auctions, the auction will feature Fine Art, Decorative Art, Silver, Furniture and Textiles from a variety of genres, regions, and periods. Most items are fresh to the market from private collections.
