Make-A-Wish Foundation

OAKLAND, Calif.  (March 23, 2013) ─ Jazzercise recently joined forces with the Golden State Warriors to raise money for the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation®.  The event raised $67,174 to support the efforts of the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation® to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Two hundred and seventy-five Jazzercise instructors and customers collected pledges in order to perform a specially choreographed dance routine for the Golden State Warriors half time show.  The event took place March 23 at the Oracle Arena where the Golden State Warriors played the Washington Wizards.

“I am so proud of everyone who participated in raising funds for such a worthy cause,” said Peggy Waide, District Manager, Jazzercise Inc.   “This event is always so much fun.  What makes it really special is that all the participants have fun performing at the game while doing something worthwhile for the community.”
