Students Fast for Nonviolence: Day 3
Vivian Le, Jackie Laron, and Jonny Neagu were the fasters Wednesday in the SLAM Fast for Nonviolence.
The Fast for Nonviolence is a 25 day fast honoring Cesar Chavez's fast in 1968. Chavez was joined by Sen. Robert Kennedy at the end of the fast.
San Leandro Academy for Multimedia students are fasting to end violence at San Leandro High, in San Leandro, in the Bay Area, and the world. Each day, a group of students fast for 24 hours and show their media during the day on the SLHS website and here on Patch.
