Les Amis Band Brings Zydeco Music and Dance to San Leandro Library

This free event will start with a half-hour basic zydeco dance instruction at 6:30 p.m. The music performance will then run from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Let the good times roll with an evening of zydeco music and dancing with Les Amis Zydeco Band on Thursday evening, July 18.

This free event will start with a half-hour basic zydeco  dance instruction at 6:30 p.m. The music performance will then run from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This festivity will be held at the San Leandro Main Library, which is located at 300 Estudillo Avenue

Les Amis Zydeco Band has its roots from the swamps of southern Louisiana and they appear frequently to perform for the Bay Area zydeco dance scene. They strive for an authentic sound whether they're playing Cajun, Creole or Zydeco.

So shuffle, slide and step on down to “Zydeco Central” at the San Leandro Library!
