Third Annual Violence Prevention Rally Sponsored by Furthering Youth Inspiration
Eliminate the hate at the Third Annual Violence Prevention Rally featuring performances, food, drinks and fun for the whole family. There will also be speakers, rappers, poets, singers, dance battles and recreation activities for children under 10.
Come out of the house to enjoy a day in the summer sun and support your local youth!
The event, which will be held near McDonalds at the corner of E. 14th Street and 166th Ave., is sponsored by Furthering Youth Inspiration, a youth leadership program of the Alameda County Deputy Sheriffs’ Activities League.

FYI functions as a catalyst for increasing youth involvement in the community and is open to young people between the ages of 12 and 19 who reside in San Leandro, Hayward and unincorporated communities including San Lorenzo.
The group meets on an ongoing basis throughout the school year and several days a week during the summer to discuss important life topics and plan positive events for the community and their peers.
