CCT presents The Trip to Bountiful by Horton Foote. This heart warming drama set in the 1940's tells the story of an older woman, Carrie Watts, who yearns to return home to the small town where she grew up, but is stopped by her daughter-in law and overprotective son. With the help of the kind, local sheriff, Mrs. Carrie Watts makes the Trip to Bountiful. Geraldine Page won an Oscar for Best Actress in the 1985 film.
