On Sunday, May 20, 2012, the Oakland Youth Orchestra under the direction of Principal Conductor Bryan Nies, will present the final concert of the 2011-12 Season.  Program will include Leonard Bernstein's Overture to Candide and Saint-Saens Cello Concerto No. 1 featuring a solo performance by Jiho Choi, winner of the OYO 2011-12 Concerto Competition.  The Oakland Symphony Chorus will join OYO for Ralph Vaughan Williams' Dona Nobis Pacem.  OSC Music Director Dr. Lynne Morrow and the chorus will also offer the California Premiere of a new work by Dr. Andre J.
