Benefit Concert for Tohoku Disaster Center

Benefit Concert for the Tohoku Disaster Center for recovery work in the areas affected by the earthquake and tsunami will be held at First United Methodist Church San Leandro, 1600 Bancroft Avenue, San Leandro, on Saturday, July 28th at 2:00 pm.

The Concert will feature the music of Jazz Pianist, Rev. Dan Damon and Choral Cosmo, a Japanese mixed voice group from Palo Alto, led by Keiko Kagawa-Hamilton, which sings many genres of music, including sacred, jazz, Japanese Art Songs, Broadway, American Standards, etc.   Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children under age 12.  Tickets may be ordered through the Church Office by check.  Just send your request, with your check made out to FUMCSL with Japan Concert written on the memo line, to FUMCSL, 1600 Bancroft Ave., San Leandro 94577.  If you don’t wish to attend the concert, but wish to make a donation to the Tohoku Disaster Relief Center, just write that on the memo line of your check.
