Asian Fashion Show and Mother/Daughter Luncheon

The San Leandro Library will be hosting an Asian Fashion Show and Mother/Daughter Luncheon as part of the Big Read Program, which runs January through March. Tickets for this show which is slated for Saturday, February 26, are $20 for individuals and $30 for couples. Couples can come in any combination: mother/daughter, aunt/niece, girlfriend/boyfriend, etc., it doesn't matter! Tickets can be purchased at the Main Library. Attendees will enjoy a delicieous dim sum luncheon while watching models walk the runway wearing the latest fashions. The Big Read, which is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts, provides people the opportunity to read and discuss a single book within their community. The San Leandro Public Library has selected the novel "The Joy Luck Club" by Amy Tan.
