Castro Valley's Johnny Maxwell Still In X-Factor Show

The 16-year-old flubbed some lines but advanced to the Thursday night round of this pre-recorded talent show.

Move over Romney and Obama.

Under the same performance pressures as the presidential candidates, Castro Valley teen Johnny Maxwell stumbled over some of his lines on the X-Factor televised talent show that aired last night . . . but still advanced to the next stage of the competition.

Phew!

How far can the 16-year-old Castro Valley High student go in the $5 million sweepstakes?

Tune in tonight and see how he fares in this pre-recorded drama.

Go! Go, Johnny, go. Go! Go, Johnny, go. Go, Johnny, be good. Oops. Different era. What's your cheer? Leave a comment.

music industry is brutal. to me he should take singing lessons marzuki (mike) grinage is a good teacher. or at music depot in hayward on bst. and he should get the melissa cross dvd. cause your vocal cords are you instrument he has to protect them at all costs. music scene is full of a bunch of sharks. i know i worked in the scene for many years. the best advice i can give him is get the musicians hand book. and get bobby borg as his consultant right away. if he is going big.
