Bring your antiques (old watches, antique dolls, anything small enough to carry in!) to the Antiques Show & Tea, and you'll have fun and leave knowing what the experts know about your treasures.

Mother-daughter team Julie Stine (third generation antiques dealer) and Marion Rogoway will assess your items, giving you information and a value range (not an insurance appraisal).  At the end, the appraisers will put on a show of the most interesting items.

Ticket prices (which are $25 for members and $35 for non-members) include buffet high tea, the Antiques Show, and one item appraisal.

You may bring additional items for appraisal at $5 each (limit 3 items). Tables will be called to the appraiser's table one by one, so you won't have to stand in a long line for your appraisal.

Buy 8 to 10 tickets in one transaction, and a table will be reserved for your group. Sit and enjoy delicious tea sandwiches and sweets until your turn to consult the appraisers.

This is an opportunity to have fun and learn about your treasures while enjoying tea with friends, or making new friends--and supporting the mission of the San Leandro Historical Society.

Tickets may be purchased by calling 510-910-3215 or by visiting here.   The library is located at 300 Estudillo Avenue, San Leandro.
