YMCA of the East Bay Honors San Leandro Youth Leader, Volunteer

Support Leah Hall and the San Leandro youth delegation; and experience how other volunteers are enriching the youth and families in the communities they serve by attending Wednesday night's YMCA of the East Bay's volunteer recognition event.

On Wednesday night, YMCA of the East Bay will be holding their annual volunteer recognition event — Celebrating the Difference that Volunteers Make — at the Oakland Marriott City Center Hotel from 6 to 9 p.m.  One of the honorees is a San Leandro Human Services Commissioner and an advisor to the San Leandro Youth & Government delegation, Leah Hall.

San Leandro High School youth build their leadership skills by being involved with the California YMCA Youth & Government Program. Under Hall’s direction and vision, San Leandro youth have improved their civic leadership skills locally and then travel the state and participating in Model Legislative Sessions at the State Capital.

Tickets to the recognition ceremony are $50. If you are interested in attending this event, please register online here, or call (510) 451-8039 ext. 133.
