Woman Claims $468,905 Lottery Ticket Purchased from San Leandro Express Liquors

Milandi Almaweri bought her Mega Millions ticket on May 9.

A lottery ticket worth nearly half a million dollars that was sold by a liquor store in San Leandro last month has now been claimed, California Lottery officials said Friday.
 
According to the California Lottery, Milandi Almaweri bought her Mega Millions ticket on May 9 from San Leandro Express Liquors at 138 West Juana Ave. Her ticket matched the numbers 39, 10, 59, 28 and 51, and missed only the Mega number.

Almaweri told Lottery officials that she only learned that she'd won last week when she checked multiple game tickets purchased over the last month. Her prize is worth a total of $468,905.
