Where In San Leandro?

Where can this car-friendly "garden" be found?

Environmental consciousness dictates that we create water-miserly gardens to minimize the use of that precious resource.

There is in San Leandro a parking lot that takes this principle to its most extreme conclusion with the artificial plants shown here. Though they may not use water, they also don't convert carbon dioxide to oxygen -- so as far as gardens go it may be a wash.

Which busy (restaurant) parking lot features these fakeries?

was quickly identified as being in front of the San Leandro Arts Education Center. As Angela Marrujo said: "The sign in the background of the picture gave it away."

Play the "Where" game by guessing the location of today's entry or by submitting a photo from around town for a future week.

Angele, when the plastic flower folk figure out how to add scent, I think you are done for :)

Hmm, busy restaurant. Does Staryuck's (oops, I mean Starbuck's :) at Bay Fair count as a restaurant, cuz that's my guess.
