Where In San Leandro?

A reader contributes a favorite place. Can you identify it?

A regular player of this picture puzzle game contributes today's photograph to test your knowledge of San Leandro.

I won't identify the contributor until later. All I can say is that there is a clue in the picture itself.

Last week's stained glass tableaux is located in the chapel adjoining the church office at St. Felicitas.

It was correctly identified by David Topete on his second try, after I nixed his first guess, St. Leander's.

I will avoid interior shots as a general rule but in this case I loved the image.

If you look closely at the attached photo, you will see Mary shaking her finger at a young Jesus, who looks chagrined.

This stained glass is the companion to another tableaux that shows young Jesus with the learned men of the Temple in Jerusalem.

Together they depict the passage in which young Jesus goes with his parents to Jerusalem and stays behind without their knowledge, throwing a fright into Mary and Joseph until his whereabouts are discovered.

I found it a very charming and down to earth treatment of the Biblical tale that any parent of a young teen could relate to.
