Where in San Leandro?

Your weekly test of local intelligence.

This week's photo quiz comes with questions beyond mere geography.

First, tell me where in San Leandro this estate is located.

Second, extra symbolic bonus points will be given to those who can tell me something else about this large piece of land located in a very urbanized part of the city.

I'm very curious.

Please email your answers to jillr@patch.com. I'll share what I learn with everyone on Monday.

Thanks for playing!

Just a reminder, please don't post your answer in the comment section. Send it to me in an email. Thanks!

Sorry about the late answer on this one. Congrats to all who correctly guessed that this estate is located on Halcyon Drive, not far from the Kraft factory. According to one reader, it was in the middle of a large group of greenhouses until around 1970.

I'm not a very regular viewer. Could you be a bit more specific about what changed recently (plusesRead More and minuses)? Thanks.

Can you reprint this several times prior to June 27. I don't want people to forget about it? Thanks

Leah, do you have the authorization from Disney for the use of the copyrighted Dumbo character youRead More use for your blog? I thought that the policy of Patch was to deny access to non-authorized materials such as this.

Nope.
