  • Fred Korematsu DayFred Korematsu, a Medal of Freedom recipient, died in 2005. Schools throughout the state are celebrating the Fred T. Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution.

  • Critical Mass on Durant Avenue. Park our Cars" legally on our residential curb instead of our Driveways. Let's slow down the "speeders" by bringing focus on how "narrow" Durant Avenue really is.
  • Buon Tempo Club Stag Night Crab and Prawn Feed. St. Leanders Parish - Ryan O'Connell Hall - Estudillo @ San Leandro Blvd. Come enjoy the Buon Tempo Clubs 55th annual Men-Only "Sportnight" Crab and Prawn Feed!  Enjoy all of the fresh Crab and Prawns you like, along with Pasta and Salad!  Fabulous Raffle Prizes!  Affordable Drinks! Big Fun!! $40 per ticket- prepaid. No tickets sold at the door.  Proceeds go towards the Buon Tempo Club Scholarship Fund.

  • Creating a Peaceful School. Mt. Diablo Peace & Justice Center's 3rd annual all-day conference at Seven Hills School in Walnut Creek
Sunday, Feb. 2
  • Big Read - Bollywood Film (Main Library) Public Library - Adults. Experience Devdas, a Bollywood film with dancing and color that only India can produce. Bollywood is the largest film producer in India and one of the largest in the world. The films are famous for music, dance, and big scenes. The film runs 3 hours.
