VIDEO: Anonymous Donor Helps Davis Street Buy Toys

Davis Street Family Resource Center received a $10,000 check that will help make this a merrier Christmas for hundreds of local children.

An anonymous donation of $10,000 helped the Davis Street Family Resource Center make sure that hundreds of local children received toys this Christmas.

In this video Davis Street Executive Director Rose Padilla Johnson talks about this year's effort to make the holiday brighter for some of our neighbors in need.

On Thursday, Davis Street distributed toys, food and other surprises to many beneficiaries.

The giveaways will continue Friday.

In all Davis Street expects to reach 800 families with children plus 200 low-income seniors this year.

There is a long waiting list for help. Here is a link to the eligibility requirements for next year: http://davisstreet.org/index.php/621/.

Thanks to the businesses, community groups, individuals and public institutions that helped Davis Street make this a merrier Christmas for so many families.

That is great! I dropped off a bunch of games and toys that I received for pennies through my couponing!

Leah, do you have the authorization from Disney for the use of the copyrighted Dumbo character youRead More use for your blog? I thought that the policy of Patch was to deny access to non-authorized materials such as this.
