Out Of ThIs World, But Not Out Of Town

Where in San Leandro can this image be found?

Do not try to adjust your Internet browser.

This image will take you to another dimension -- a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind.

A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination.

That's a signpost up ahead: it asks, "Where in San Leandro" can this be found?

Congratulations to Pat Lucchesi who correctly identified last week's picture of as being taken at the Downtown Farmers' Market that occurs on Wednesday nights.

(Remember, every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm there is a Farmers' Market at Bayfair Mall.)

Please leave your guesses for this week's puzzle.

San Leandro High Teacher Art Show at the Arts Education Center at San Leandro High School (2200 Bancroft Ave). The reception is on May 29, 2012, from 3:30 to 5:15pm. The sculpture above is by Phil Hargrave.

That's art???? No wonder the kids aren't learning squat in SL.

Stephen Colbert reports on Paul Vargass and Sean Hannity's idea of the most beautiful art that money can buy today. Moving /and/ sold by the foot, the way God intended. :) http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-report-videos/414028/may-09-2012/jon-mcnaughton-s--nation-under-socialism--artwork

Leah, that juniper hedge on E.14th and 150th that you so derisively complained about a couple weeks ago has more artistic value that this laughable and unphotographable joke that is posted above. Oh and by the way; "One Nation Under Socialism" is spot on accurate. Truly an artistic masterpiece.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But courtesy is determined by the audience, as we would all do well to remember.

Colbert reminds me of the art critic in History of the World.....a caveman. lol

This is a piece of art displayed at the Arts Education Center at San Leandro High School. I believe it is one of the art teachers' creations

...and Vargas, P. is the worst use of a keypad I have ever seen. :(
Paul Vargas May 28, 2012 at 06:31 AM
Woman, what are you talking about? Is it the colors? The colors? They're moving baby, they're moving. lol
Leah Hall May 28, 2012 at 05:59 PM
Nope, Vrgass, it's all the garbage coming off your fat fingers. :(
Paul Vargas May 28, 2012 at 06:12 PM
I thought the fat fingers were what created this monstrosity that has been posted above???
Leah Hall May 28, 2012 at 06:39 PM
Half right. Apparently you don't understand what the word "think" means. Here you go.... think defined: to have a conscious mind, to some extent of reasoning, remembering experiences, making rational decisions, etc. to employ one's mind rationally and objectively in evaluating or dealing with a given situation: Think carefully before you begin. to have a certain thing as the subject of one's thoughts: I was thinking about you. We could think of nothing else. to call something to one's conscious mind: I couldn't think of his phone number. to consider something as a possible action, choice, etc.: She thought about cutting her hair. Leah wishes that Vargass would think before making a big fat arse out of himself.

On second thought... "Forget the horse! Saddle yonder braying ass!"

Leah...hee haw hee haw hee haw hee haw
Leah Hall May 30, 2012 at 03:31 AM
Don't quit your day job, Vargas. :(
Paul Vargas May 31, 2012 at 05:02 AM
Leah, this thing that is supposed to be "art" has no artistic value. How can you defend such a load of garbage, yet you attacked a juniper hedge??? What are you attempting to achieve?
Leah Hall May 31, 2012 at 06:34 AM
Ye gods! Thy braying ass is back. :( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srkarrl2EaU&feature=endscreen&NR=1
Paul Vargas May 31, 2012 at 10:49 AM
That ass has more artistic value than this "art".

slamming a sculpture off a 2D thumbnail leads to questions of judgement, and lest we forget the value of a nice shrubbery... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIV4poUZAQo

Blessed grace... Sir Anthony is just and fair. Thy braying ass...? Indeed, the animal is incessantly repetitive, but its countenance shows more judgement than its human counterpart on this Patch thread. :( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anwy2MPT5RE
