Who: Community members welcome, this event is free and open to the public! 

Enjoy the first day of summer by celebrating locally-grown food in our community!  The Alameda County Office of Education and its community partners are building a community garden at the corner of Mission Blvd. and Paradise Blvd.  (map) in the Ashland District.  We invite you to join us and learn more about applying for one of thirteen garden beds to plan your own fresh fruits and vegetables!

The community garden is part of the Alameda County Office of Education's nutrition education program, Project EAT (Educate. Act. Thrive), which aims to make healthy, nutritious food more accessible to the community.
