Castro Valley Man Holds Watercolor Show

Richard Geiger puts 30 works on display. Reception Monday at 3 pm.

Castro Valley painter Richard Geiger will hold a reception at 3 pm Monday at the Baywood Court Retirement Community to display 30 of his works.

Geiger, a retired newspaper librarian who has worked for the San Francisco Chronicle and San Jose Mercury, says he has been painting watercolors for about three years.

An avid sailor and rower, Geiger says the paintings will cover many subjects, not just boats.

The Community is at 21966 Dolores Street (off Grove Way) and the show is on the 3rd floor gallery. Just sign in at the main desk and take the elevator up.
