Can You Sing? Dance? Play the Piano? Audition for San Leandro's Got Talent!

Auditions for San Leandro's Got Talent will take place on Jan. 13 and 14.

San Leandro’s Got Talent is a citywide teen talent show and fundraiser for youth programs.

The City of San Leandro’s Youth Advisory Commission and Main Library Teen Advisory Group are looking for talented teens ages 13 to 18 who can sing, dance, juggle, play an instrument, rap, do spoken word, you name it.

Performers must audition, and those selected for the final show have a chance to perform for celebrity judges, win great prizes, and have a video on YouTube. Auditions will be held on Jan. 13 and Jan. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. Applications are available online, or at the Main Library located on 300 Estudillo Avenue. Applications must be completed prior to the audition so we can schedule your time. For more information, please call 577-3955.

San Leandro’s Got Talent will take place on Friday, Feb. 7 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Marina Community Center.

Teens ages 13 to 18 will compete for prizes, and the audience, along with a local celebrity-judging panel, will choose the winners.

Light refreshments will be sold during intermission and there will be a raffle for great prizes.

San Leandro’s Got Talent is a collaboration of the San Leandro Public Library’s Teen Advisory Group (TAG) and the Youth Advisory Commission (YAC).

You may purchase tickets at the San Leandro Main Library or the Marina Community Center on15301 Wicks Boulevard. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (17 and under).
