I hope dog park lovers know about the fenced area at the San Leandro Marina: two areas, actually, for large and and small dogs.

City needs to do something about the weeds in this dog park ,fox tails, and those little burrs ,they get all stuck in the paws of the dogs, also can get in the nasal area cause large vet bill , remove, put sand, something needs to be done, getting worse all the time. I now have to go to Alameda since they have sand and very small weed problem !

My little dog is a 'princess'. She loves to run and play in deep grass, not bark, weeds or sand! Besides, I want a nice clean place to take her that she doesn't require grooming before I can bring her back in the house.

I think we could fit at least 2 dozen nail salons in there.

How about a huge autoparts store? We only have 4 or 5 of those

200 low income housing units? It's right next to juvenile hall, right? better than transit oriented, the future felons of America can walk home from jail.

Like Tom said, the San Leandro Marina has a large area for both small and large dogs. Also a 1 mile walking course you can take your dog on. But please any doggy business your dog leaves please clean up. :)
