PROGRAMS
Castro Valley Optometrist, Dr. Gary Osias, a member of the San Lorenzo Lions Club and his daughter Rachel are riding tandem along with 1,000 cyclists participating at the 23rd ANNUAL KONOCTI CHALLENGE CENTURY RIDE on Saturday, October 5, 2013. Each participant can cycle up to 100 miles around beautiful Clear Lake, California’s largest natural lake to raise funds for community service projects of their choice. Dr. Osias has selected two sight conservation programs as beneficiary of his efforts:
· LIONS EYE FOUNDATION OF CALIFORNIA AND NEVADA: a local non-profit charitable corporation providing surgical eye care to individuals with no insurance and limited incomes.
· LIONS IN SIGHT OF CALIFORNIA AND NEVADA: collects, process and dispense used eyeglasses for use in various developing countries throughout the world.
We invite you to support this fund raising effort by sponsoring Dr. Gary Osias with your donation. Thank you for your support!
