Every year, foster care volunteers are needed to help save the lives of hundreds of homeless animals! Something as simple as opening your home to one or more of the animals in our care can make all the difference in the world.

Some homes prefer caring for underage kittens and puppies while they wait to be spayed or neutered. Others prefer to assist with sick or injured animals during their recovery period. And let’s not forget about those animals needing behavior basics! We need foster homes dedicated to give them a helping hand as well.
As an East Bay SPCA foster parent, we will teach you the skills needed to set your foster friend up for success. Commitments are short (generally lasting only 2-4 weeks). Veterinary services, medications, food and litter are provided by the East Bay SPCA. All you are required to provide is a loving home!
We have an orientation this Saturday, March 29th at 1pm. If you would like to attend, please fill out an application at the following site and we’ll send you additional details.
