Twice yearly, Building Futures delivers a 40-hour Domestic Violence Counselor Certification Training. The next training is scheduled to begin Friday March 7, 2014.
By California law, any employee or volunteer who works with survivors of domestic violence must complete at least 40 hours of training. In addition to basic information on domestic violence, this training will emphasize working with domestic violence survivors who are homeless and/or experiencing mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
Registration is open to the public; deadline is Monday February 24, 2014
Registration Fee for the training $300.00.
