A Town Hall meeting will be held on Thursday, June 30, at 6:30 p.m. for the residents of San Leandro City Council Districts 3 and 4.
The meeting will occur in the Thunderbolt Room of the Marina Community Center at 15301 Wicks Boulevard and is hosted by Mayor Stephen Cassidy and City Councilmembers Diana Souza and Joyce Starosciak.
Topics for discussion during the meeting will include a report from Police Chief Sandra Spagnoli about current crime trends and activities in those areas of San Leandro, as well as a report on recent and upcoming traffic improvement projects from the City’s Principal Transportation Engineer Keith Cooke.
The June 30th town hall meeting for Council Districts 3 and 4 follows a well-attended town hall meeting in May for residents of Council Districts 1 and 2.
“Town Hall meetings are a time honored tradition in this nation for civic leaders to gather input and answer questions from the community,” said Mayor Cassidy. “The City Council and I are committed to conducting Town Hall meetings for each council district. We look forward to having a closer dialogue with the community, sharing information of interest to individual neighborhoods, and making our local government more accessible and transparent.”
