There are some great plant sales supporting local gardens and institutions for the next three weekends...bring your own box or wheelbarrow!

Tilden Botanical Garden Sale - April 20

If you’re into California native plants this is one of the best sales to pick up plants and support a beautiful garden at the same time.  Some people line up outside the gates a hour before the sale...the Tiarellas are always a hot commodity.  Parking is tight so carpool or be zen about it!

University of California Botanical Garden Sale - April 27

I like this sale because there are always unusual plants to found.  Plus the garden is gorgeous.  Parking is tight (again), its crowded, but just keep it cool and elbow your way through!

Merritt Spring Plant Sale - May 5-6

Coastal climate vegetable starts...what a great idea!  Plus heirloom vegetables, rare fruit and native & Mediterranean plants.  Support educating the landscape gardeners, designer and contractors of the future...a fun and funky crowd!  Plenty of parking but you may have to walk a bit.
