Pio Roda and Williams are both employees of the Meyers Nave law firm, and they work under contract to San Leandro.

Meyers Nave is a 90-person law firm whose clients are government entities according to a Business Journal profile. The firm was cofounded in 1986 by former San Leandro city attorney Steven Meyers.

According to San Leandro Bytes, when the city council reviewed the Meyers Nave contract in February, six council members opted to retain the relationship while Mayor Stephen Cassidy urged more scrutiny of alternatives.
