Note: We will be selective about this process. We're looking for strong local voices who write well and contribute valuable information, observations and/or opinions to the community. 

The blog platform will be yours and yours only. Although the editor will approve posts before they appear, we're not going to mess with your stuff. We want this to be your platform. As long as it's legal and readable, you've got free rein.

This also means Patch bloggers are not paid. Much like our partner The Huffington Post has done, Patch is providing local bloggers an online platform to have their words seen by a larger audience. San Leandro Patch is part of the fastest growing local news and information company in the country!

And, since it's your blog, there are no strings attached. Write one blog or 100. Write once a week or every day. It's totally up to you.

San Leandro Patch will not own the blog content, meaning that if you already have a blog, you can re-post your work here. And if you're new to blogging, we'll show you how to do it and host your pieces on our site.
